Online First Aid for Mental Health courses in December and beyond.

Building your confidence in what to do when you feel lost for words.

The identified rates of mental health needs in young people are rising, going from 1 in 10 young people when I was first training to 1 in 6. And that's just the young people who are in the systems.

What do you do when a young person confirms your suspicions that they're really not okay?

Ever felt lost for words when a young person shares their true feelings with you?

Have you started telling yourself the lie that you should stay silent so that you don't cause more damage?

The real truth is that you already have the relationship this child needs. Come to our training in December and you'll leave with the words you need to build on that relationship.

🌟 Join with other like-minded people to become part of the change-makers who are not willing to pretend that children and young people don't have difficulties with their mental health.

🌟 Leave with more than a handbook and a certificate that lasts for 3 years.

🌟 Leave with a tried and tested method to have those hard conversations and experience a safe space to explore mental health in young people.

This training is not designed to traumatise but to empower you long after the trainers are gone.

How do you know you're ready for this?

You're holding back from asking the young person in front of you their honest reality because you were brought up with the idea that:

'Feelings shouldn't be shared'

Or

'I can't handle your pain'

Or

'You've got it all ahead of you, what have you got to be sad about'?

Bekind to yourself

This isn't for you if you're currently in a mental health crisis yourself, or a close member of your family is.

It's not for you if you don't like training on Zoom. I'm a trained teacher and a creative therapist so you will not be sat there passively, but you will have to be able to access the training.

It's also not for you if you want to be a therapist (or a therapist from this training alone). 6 hours does not a therapist make.

You need this now if you're working with young people in any capacity. Mental health needs are not going to disappear overnight, in fact with the current cost of living crisis, climate change and social media targeting them, we seem to be in the eye of the storm.

Why train with me? ‡️

Company Director and Play Therapist, Louise Worrall

I was a teacher who saw the immediate needs of the young people in front of me.

A parent who has had to navigate the educational and mental health systems.

And now a therapist who can give you a real-life understanding of what is there for young people on our side of the fence.

Speaking at TEDx in 2021 on 'A Tomorrow Centered Around Children’s Wellbeing' I know that my experience and passion is something that previous participants have outlined has helped them see through the fog of mental health services and support.

πŸ™Œ 'I want to change their story'

πŸ™Œ You are not responsible for these young people's feelings, but you can be the change they need.

πŸ™Œ Be brave enough to know your blind spots and work with me to remove them.

πŸ™Œ Meet others that are also supporting young people and recognise the amazing power you have right now.

I can't wait to see you on the 7th of December and invite you to change the story for young people.
