Individual Play Therapy
INDIVIDUAL PLAY THERAPY from £45 a 50 min session
Play Therapy is evidenced to be most effective when completed in around 18 sessions, depending on the needs and complexity of the child. Sessions start with a comprehensive parent/carer/teacher meeting, and then every 8-10 sessions a review takes place. The length of therapy depends on the child’s needs, which are assessed in two play sessions following the parent review. If it is deemed Play Therapy is not suitable, an alternative pathway will be explained and recommended.
The work may become less effective if the child is receiving another intervention, but this can be discussed before the initial meeting. Sessions can be paid for monthly and booked in blocks of 10 and 20. Some schools are able to access funding from Pupil Premium.
